At our new maintenance building at 350 Franklin St. in Olean, we needed to put down a floor coating that was durable, withstand heavy equipment and superior traction in our wash bay and lift areas.
For this we chose a 5-coat heavy duty epoxy system with 2 broadcasts of resin quartz layers for extra strength and non-slip resistance. This was accomplished by custom adding a 40-grit clear oxide.
The Resin Quartz works hard to protect and enhance the durability of high-performance flooring systems while maintaining superior chemical and abrasion resistance.
Extra effort had to be put into the grinding steps to achieve a CSP 2 surface. We used a specialty tool along with our powered floor grinder to properly profile the surface.
The total surface space was approximately 3,000 sq. ft. The process took 5 days plus grinding.
Final results were a phenomenal look and an appropriate system for our industrial environment.
We’re able to create custom Resin Quartz blends to meet individual needs. These floors are great for vet clinics, auto dealerships, maintenance shops, many more industrial environments.

It’s POOL time!!! A local hotel called M J Painting Contractor Corp. for some help with their pool deck and liner.
There were 3 coats of existing coatings on the pool deck that was breaking up and bad in a lot of areas. We ground those off using our powered floor grinder. And in some spots, the guys had to hand grind. Once the deck was ready, we applied a coat of Epoxy primer followed by a specialty coat of pool decking that includes a gripping component to reduce the potential of slipping on the pool deck.
For the pool liner, our crews hand cut all the cracks, then filled the cracks with steel-seam followed by 2 coats of a specialty pool liner epoxy. And what a finish that stuff provides!
