🌱 Raised Bed Challenge – Week 7 Update! 🍅

And as always, the camera lady is still the prettiest thing in the garden! Week 7 is in the books, and the tomato count keeps climbing!

Here are this week's results:

🍅 Coast of Maine Raised Bed Mix: 154 tomatoes🍅 Miracle-Gro Raised Bed Mix: 126 tomatoes

That puts Coast of Maine ahead by 28 tomatoes this week.

One of the most interesting parts of this challenge has been watching both raised beds perform throughout the season. While both mixes have produced a strong harvest, Coast of Maine has maintained a steady lead in our opinion.

With several weeks still remaining, there's plenty of time for the numbers to change. Will Miracle-Gro close the gap, or will Coast of Maine continue to pull ahead?

Week 5 of the raised bed test is in the books! 🌱🍅

This week there really wasn’t much difference in plant height between the beds… but now we’re starting to see where things get interesting. 👀

🍅 Miracle-Gro Bed: 12 tomatoes started🍅 Coast of Maine Bed: 33 tomatoes started

Both beds are growing, but the Coast of Maine bed is definitely pulling ahead when it comes to production so far.

The regular garden mix bed is still hanging in there after the Tomato-tone boost, but it’s got some catching up to do. 😂

We’ll keep tracking growth, production, and overall plant health each week. Stay tuned because things are starting to get good now!

🌱 Raised Bed Test – Week 4 Update 🌱

This week didn’t bring any major changes, but we’re still learning a lot from the test beds!

🍅 Both the Coast of Maine and Miracle-Gro beds each gained about 3.5” of tomato growth this week and are still leading the test.

🌿 The regular garden mix bed is finally starting to respond after adding Tomato-tone fertilizer. We’re seeing some improvement and new growth beginning, but it’s still trailing behind the other two beds for now.

One thing this test is proving so far… soil quality and nutrition make a HUGE difference in how plants establish and grow.

We’ll keep tracking progress each week so everyone can see the results for themselves. Coast of Maine Organic Products, Inc.

🌱 RAISED BED TEST – WEEK 3 UPDATE 🌱

Our Coast of Maine bed is still looking strong and healthy 👍
The Miracle-Gro bed is hanging in there 👀

…but the Garden Mix bed is STRUGGLING** 😬

So this week, we decided to step in and give it a boost 💪
➡️ We added Tomato-tone from Espoma to see if we can bring it back to life

Now the question is…
👉 Will fertilizer save it, or is the soil the real problem?
