Early Bird Registration is open!!!!

The University of Washington campus offers one of the region’s most memorable settings to experience the relationship between landscape, architecture, and the city. From the legacy of the 1909 Alaska–Yukon–Pacific Exposition and the Olmsted Brothers planning framework to the evolving campus today, UW reflects a layered landscape shaped by formal vistas, historic spaces, iconic views, promenades, and contemporary investments in ecology, mobility, and the public realm.

We are still taking walking tour submissions! Be sure to submit here before next Friday, June 26th!!! https://form.jotform.com/261236696599172

LACES Credit will be offered for all walking tours and the keynote presentation pending approval.

Don't wait, register today! Early Bird Rates End After July 15th!

ASLA wants to hear from you!!!!

Your input helps shape ASLA’s advocacy at both the federal and state levels. Together with chapters and partners, ASLA works to advance policies that support the profession, strengthen communities, and protect our natural and built environments.

Based on previous survey results, currently ASLA advocates for policies that address professional licensure, healthy communities, water management, parks and recreation, active transportation, and climate resilience and biodiversity.

This short survey will help:

Set ASLA’s federal legislative priorities for the upcoming 120th Congress (2027-2028)
Inform chapter-level advocacy and state priorities
Please read each question carefully and note whether it is asking for a state or federal perspective.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your insights—your voice directly informs ASLA's work.

Introducing our 2026 WASLA Field Day Keynote Speaker Kristine Kenney!

Kristine is ASLA, LEED AP
University Landscape Architect & Director of Campus Planning + Architecture U of W

Kristine will be speaking about how campus landscapes are shaped over time through the balance of ambition and stewardship. Drawing on two decades of work across multiple campuses, it examines how long-term planning, incremental capital projects, and ecological systems collectively form coherent and resilient environments. Rather than treating landscape as a backdrop to development, the discussion positions it as the organizing framework that connects buildings, infrastructure, and human experience. It highlights how landscape architects guide change in ways that strengthen identity, ecological performance, and everyday usability across evolving campus contexts.

You aren't going to want to miss this keynote! 2026 Field Day will be held at Oak Hall on the University of Washington Campus. Early Bird Registration Opens Tomorrow!
