Quick post, I'm in vacation.
Looking to find a skilled, safe tree worker/ arborist/ apprentice arborist.
"Work-cation" or long term. Short-term or Transitional housing possible.
16 years in business.
Small operation with great customer base. Many customers for more than a decade. Selectively taking new customers in my close-
Currently have a part- time climber- groundwoman. I bang out a lot of solo work, as I find tree work very predictable and low risk, aside from some nasty storm work
Rely on machines and labor-saving techniques as much as possible.
Mini-loader with BMG and Scoops (alturnamats aid access when needed), gas-powered capstan, GRCS, Wraptor, APTA (hand throw most trees to 60-70'), 40-ish wedges and a springboard, SENAs, Woodland Mills HM126 sawmill (16' plus trim capacity) etc., etc..
There are two crane companies in town with tree experience.
Retired friends have hauling rigs, including a strong knuckleboom/ dump, allowing me to take on large jobs with less staff.
Neighbor has a 36" capacity Hud-son hydraulic mill.
Been climbing SRS since it was SRT with a wooden rope wrench or F8-Revolver.
Balance of tree care and removal, with rare grinding (25hp Rayco).
Country/ Puget Sound water front and water view client base. Very little urban work. My shop is 12 minutes from downtown Olympia, WA.
