What exactly IS a “garden fairy,” you ask? A person who truly listens to your needs and ideas and helps to design your dream garden. A teacher at heart, the Garden Fairy also teaches you about your plants, and how to properly care for them throughout the seasons.

Offering garden clean-up, maintenance, planning, designing and implementation, the Garden Fairy specializes in transforming overgrown gardens and using a mix of your existing perennials with new plants for an even greener approach to landscaping.

The Garden Fairy recommends using native plants for optimal plant health and less maintenance to the home owner. Sweeping in for a consult, plan, clean-up, planting, and finishing with mulch color of your choice is what an experience with the Garden Fairy is like.

All questions are valid, especially “is this a weed?” No job is too big or too small. If interested, please message Janie for more info. ☺️ 🌿🍁🌳🍂

Even small spaces can make an impact. Finding just the right plants for sun/shade and hardiness is important. ☺️

Planters don’t always have to be terra cotta or plastic pots! Notice pockets that could use a little color, & add perennials or annuals for a smile inducing surprise. The Garden Fairy filled this stump with soil before adding hardy perennials as a surprise for her neighbor who was out of town. Instead of coins under the pillow like the tooth fairy, GF likes to surprise others with flowers & unexpected weeding & lawn mowing. ❤️🌱

Finally finished 2 gardens flanking the sides of this 1924 bungalow’s porch. Filled with layers of limestone as a retaining wall, the Garden Fairy’s crew spent hours pulling out rocks, later to be shared with neighbors. A sweet little lilac surrounded by penstemon, bachelors buttons, & hardy old hostas all from the homeowner’s own yard replace the rocky, lifeless ledge.

Spring is a great time to tackle those weeds, thin & transplant perennials, & reimagine your own outdoor oasis. Let me know how I can help! 🧚🏼

So heartwarming to get a garden update from a last year’s client who wanted me to see how well her garden is doing this spring! ❤️☺️🌱🌿This was formerly a problem area, filled with red rock and plants that were barely hanging on. After hearing the homeowner’s dreams, I thinned & transplanted her own gorgeous perennials into a new pattern, added fresh mulch & created a rock barrier with stones found hiding in her own yard. 👍🏼
