When filling a Reyes golden bed having a good mix of quality topsoil, compost, and course sand gives the new seeds and seedlings the nutrients they need and the drainage so they don’t get waterlogged.

Just putting the finishing touches on my 16’ x 4’ 24 inch high custom built raised bed for my client. Built-in potato beds on each side, so those tubers don’t hit the main garden and disrupt roots.
