Need snow removal crews for all shifts part time is ok too. Need to cover a 24 hour period when it snows so need people who want to earn extra income and can be available when it snows. We need crews able to run a snow plow and/ or able to run a snow blower and/ or shovels. Looking for up to 30 people. We are looking to promote the best applicants into our Lawn service division in the Spring. -Position Overview
The Small Engine Repair Technician will handle all day to day maintenance of our parking lot/field marking machines, commercial lawn equipment, commercial carpet cleaning equipment, daily fleet vehicle checks, and walk in small engine repair of various types.
-Position Duties
Works under the shop manager to maintain and repair all company equipment at the appropriate intervals. Work with the shop manager to ensure all scheduled vehicle and equipment maintenance is being done on time. Maintain a proper inventory of replacement parts.
Additional duties:
• Perform oil changes
• Engine tune ups
• Daily Fluid checks
• Clean and maintain carpet cleaning trucks
• Document all work performed.
• Any other maintenance request or inspections as assigned by the shop manager.
-Candidate Characteristics
The small engine repair technician has the ability to Effectively Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them. Must have high-level mechanical abilities and enjoys working outdoors with machinery.
Other characteristics:
• Team oriented
• Detail oriented
• Able to anticipate and adapt to challenges
• Able to multi- task and prioritize
• Have availability is case of major issues.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
-Prior Experience
1 year of experience with small engine repair. Experience with parking lot/filed marking paint spraying equipment a plus.
