KITCHEN ORGANIZER TIP: Do not overfill each area. 🤯
(see photo examples below of over-crowded drawers)

The more you put in a single space, the less organized and streamlined it will look. Buy more divider sticks and start a second (or third) utensil drawer, if needed.

👌Declutter DIY: Have too much of the same thing? Find a category that you have more than three of (15 spatulas or 4 ladles) and let go of one of them.

‼️ Pro's & Con's of Decanting 👇

PRO:
🤩Easy to see exactly how much of an item we have.
🤩Airtight containers = food can stay fresher longer in the containers than it does in its original packaging.
🤩Gives pantry neat, streamlined look and feel.
🤩Saves space, less clutter from original packing.

CON:
😩Containers cost money. It can be a bit of an investment.
😩Time consuming!

🤩3 Coat Closet Organization Ideas You Wish You Knew Sooner 👇

Keep your coat closet tidy and simple with these need-to-know organizational tips and storage ideas:

1️⃣ Organize Coats By Length: shorter-->longer. By utilizing the top bar for shorter jackets you'll be able to utilize the bottom hanging bar. Don't have 2 hanging bars? Use the extra floor space for a shoe rack or boot storage.

2️⃣ Use the right coat hangers: a wooden hanger is sturdy enough to hold heavy winter jackets without bending or breaking. Check out The Container Store for our favorite wood hangers.

❗️ Bonus Pro Tip for all your garage storage needs: Keep all of your sports equipment easily accessible and in one spot! Use open stackable bins for sports accessories and smaller items like balls, gloves, hats and extra wheels, etc.

❗️Kids Closet Tip: Help your children stay organized and start to take responsibility by placing like-items together on open shelving and in labeled bins. Not only are they able to access most items (aka pick out outfits and get dressed in the morning), but they can also help you when it comes to putting away clean clothes, toys and shoes. 🤩

If you don’t have a coffee/tea bar, designate some open space on your countertop to make your coffee or tea easily accessible in the morning. DIY your own station by using an empty cupboard or shelf to store all cups, mugs and accessories.

It's been a COLD Winter so far (right)? ❄️ Since we are all spending more time indoors, having a tidy and fresh interior setting that is enjoyable to spend time in is more important than ever!

For the next couple months, keep looking inward, into your home and finding areas that can be freshened up! Take this hallway counter/cabinet space, for example. It went from messy and cluttered into a multi-purpose space in under 30 minutes.😍

‼️ Pro Tip: Give everything one designated home. Instead of items occupying several spaces in your home, move all of them to one closet or cabinet.

➡️Ex. We took all of the linens and re-homed them into the laundry room to clear up space so this area can become an everyday space for items that are accessible and used regularly.
