Wayne State College's new residence hall, Stearns Hall, was built around a simple idea: that a student's living environment directly shapes how they learn, connect, and grow.

The design moves away from traditional campus housing conventions, prioritizing flexibility and comfort instead. Thoughtful lounge configurations and wellness amenities make shared living more functional, while private non-gendered bathrooms reflect a genuine commitment to inclusive design. Environmental graphic design grounds the building in Wayne State's identity, supporting wayfinding and community in a way that feels considered rather than incidental.

It's these kind of details that lingers with prospective students long after the campus tour ends!

We are delighted to continue our relationship with Southeast Community College on a new build at its Lincoln Campus—a 45,000 square foot Life Sciences Building. SCC is responding to a growing student population and the expanding demands of its healthcare and biotechnology programs by increasing much needed lab and classroom space.
