After last night‘s rain, we were able to open our 2026 season on the official day, April 1 which was started back in 1978 our first year that we were open for business right here in the beautiful city of Ontario, California on the historic Euclid Avenue . The Rose farm is at 75% bloom will be at 100% in the next two weeks. God willing

I just took a stroll through the Rose’s farm admiring all these beautiful roses blooming this late in December by this time next week, the vast majority of them will have succumb to the rain. I can already see the facts from the heavy fog and morning dew has It’s affect on them. For us the pruning season will be later than normal projecting it to be mid to late January.

Welcome to December’s update on our winter blooms. I can’t remember the last time I had so many blooms in the month of December. We got past the heavy rains and even last week, Santa Ana winds roses are truly resilient in nature. Here are a few pictures. I just took about 30 minutes ago. Business hours for Saturday and Sunday are 10 AM to 4 PM. Come and visit. 😊

An update on the fall roses season this year has been one of the best weather conditions have been very mild. The weatherman is forecasting rain for several days, which will definitely threaten the full bloom roses. The constant rain will cause them to decay quickly. It’s a good thing that we still have a lot of rosebuds that are closed and rain should not bother them. They will be blooming in about a week or so perfect timing .

10/15/2025 the day after a heavy rain storm hit the GUERRERO ROSE FARM NURSERY. We got just about under 2 inches of rain. I kid you not I was a little worried about my full bloom roses, but we fared very well. I received two phone calls this morning from customers who live quite a ways away one from Mission Viejo and the other from Riverside. Both wanted to know if we had roses in Bloom. So I thought I would post newly updated pictures of our blooming roses. Please make the drive to ONTARIO to see the fall blooms.

These pictures were taken on the last day of summer 2025. I apologize for not posting more pictures throughout the summer season. My plate was full with plenty of chores around the farm keeping these roses growing and blooming. With the end of summer comes the fall blooms return to their true color and size without that summer sunrise beating down on them . Fall is an excellent time to get Rose’s planted  in preparations for spring time.

Came across this beautiful Rose in Bloom today. It is one of four of the new roses from Star Roses and Plants introduced for 2025. At first sight, I fell in love with it “ love me love me not “ what a perfect name for this beautiful rose ❤️🏆🥇At the time I submitted my order for bare roots this rose was sold out .
Thanks to my sales rep at Star Roses and Plants She made sure I receive some. The variety won’t be ready for sale until the end of April so they can fully root.

03-20-2025🌹🌹🌹🌹 Welcoming in the first day of spring at the GUERRERO ROSE FARM NURSERY  opening seasons, just around the corner April 1 . We are at about 5% blooms at this time the forecast shows the next 10 days sunny, mild weather, which will definitely help the roses to bloom quicker. I will keep you up-to-date in the next week with new pictures.
