We are definitely putting in the effort to make this custom home build spectacular. In this episode we are framing the first and second floors. Building a home on a steep hillside has advantages, such as a huge living space thanks to so many levels, and of course the epic views. But it also has it fair share of obstacles along the way. Holding back 7-10 feet of dirt and controlling water flow takes a lot of planning. Utilizing nine to eleven foot tall walls, French drains, and of course waterproofing the walls, creates the right drainage and support for a 3 story house.
