US Drought Monitor (updated on 5/14/26) has Hamilton, Bradley, Polk and much of N GA in a Level D-3 "Extreme Drought." This is getting serious. We are around 8" below normal. At this point, not only do you need to water your plants often, but you will need to water established trees and shrubs.
