A rainy overcast day really makes videos and photos look better. Raining today so I took a video of my grapevines growing on my old bed headboard in from of my Crete Myrtle’s and azaleas. I painted the fence behind all that black to exaggerate color. I think it worked.!

A freeze pop in the shade! I had to meet a mechanic in Bay Minette today so I asked Patti if she wanted to ride the motorcycle up there with me. I hate to say it was hot! We stopped by Steve’s Catfish Pond, I think it’s called, on the way home. Funny looking watermelons in those boxes 🤔

I had to build a nook somewhere in the house as sort of an office space. Christopher Whalen actually does all of it and I couldn’t more pleased. It’s not painted and that’s not the furniture or pictures that’ll be there but it’s a start. The house is coming together little by little. The window on the right will someday become a doorway to a new porch. Someday…

On this side of my garage my neighbor and I split the cost of the fence between our properties you see here and we agreed to plant confederate jasmine to cover it. It’s been a couple of years now and it’s finally taking off! Gonna look great when it covers the fence completely. Soon, it appears 😊

My Dogwood is blooming, the yellow wildflowers are blooming, daffodils are blooming, the saucer magnolia is still blooming and my grapevine is climbing an old iron headboard. I just keep talking to them daily.
