Heard of this "hack" from a Clay County Master Gardener years ago. This post explains it better than I can.

I found my pruning shears in the garden three months after "losing" them.

They looked exactly like you'd expect garden tools that spent months in the rain to look.

I almost threw them out. Then I remembered a trick I'd read about — something in the pantry, not the garage, that dissolves rust without any real elbow grease. I tried it, mostly out of curiosity.

Three hours later I had the cleanest pair of pruners I've owned in years.

Today we remember the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy, France to begin America's journey in the fight to free Europe of the N**i tyranny. Many sacrificed their lives that day and throughout the long days of World War II. May their sacrifices never be forgotten.
