Ok folks I’m working through my rows and doing official counts. I’m hoping to get it done within the next week.

I’m not seeing big rhizomes (though I haven’t yet dug any). I’m putting some pictures of my clumps showing the rhizomes. I am counting fans with 7 or 8 leaves as increases for sale. Most of the ones I’m showing are blooming size for me.

Yes I’m finding all sorts of increases I can cut off, all bloom verified. All 7-8 fans. My rhizomes aren’t massive but I feel comfortable selling increases with 7-8 leaves, they’ll definitely bloom for me. Newer releases, space age, great older cultivars. I’m working all day, I promise. I got in at 9:10 pm tonight.

Please tell me what kind of packages you’d like to see. Packages I typically discount about 20%. So give me some ideas of what you want to see!

Folks, I am working in the fields always. Many have requested particular irises, I am trying to assess what increases I can offer. It’s always a struggle with weeds this time of year but I’m working every day. I have over 1500 plantings, so I appreciate your patience.

I have many irises I never even posted and I’ll be trying to do that as well. Some are very limited I usually save to offer in packages. I always do very best to accommodate my followers and buyers.

Look at the seed pods all over the dwarfs! I have probably 150 seed pods, this is just one part of the row. I’m waiting trying to work around them but Brilliant Baubles is completely covered with them, it’s nuts!

I’m in the process of cutting bloomstalks now…darting in and outside with super hot weather. 96° with humidity 🥵. My dogs aren’t even interested in going outside.

My bee pods on the dwarfs are crazy, I must have around 150! When it got hot so quickly, the bees 🐝 were all over the SDBs. My dwarfs (Teagan), intermediates (Champagne Encore) and tall beardeds (Summer Sunburst, Giddyup to Go, others) are still throwing up blooms too, what a crazy year. I am harvesting the pods so I am waiting until the dwarfs ripen before I start digging. Should be a week or two.

If anyone wants to add on to their packages à la carte, I’m sure I can carve out a piece even if it’s not advertised. Customers past and present always get first dibs on my irises.
