Today is the last day before Nai's is being forced to move off the land they have tended for nearly 30 years. I am heartbroken and very disappointed with the new developer who is telling them to leave their hardwork that has been planted so he can sell and have a fruit stand like them until he builds his home. Well i don't know who that is but i will not being buying anything from that person who would harm this family, this community and expoloit their hard work. Please come support Nai's last day as our community strawberry stand. Santa Juanita and Oak Ave.

I wish I would have understood the situation months ago, I wish I would have done more than this to help. I also look optimistically to the future for Nai's and wish them all the success. Glad ro hear a neighbor nearby is going to have them at his property with a stand so they can continue to be apart of the OV community!

Great meeting everyone at Alameda Native History Project. Many good people came together as a community and shared food, ideas, and celebrated the newly acquired acorn processing hub! Excited to be apart of this collaboration to strengthen food sovereignty!

I brought food grown at the Orangevale Farm Stand and Food Bank. Gifted sage from a friends gardens to gift and native plants from my garden to share. Also donated seeds from Walqaqsh for the community garden. Of course i was repping my favorite attire in the newest release to Stand with Bear Ears tee from Native who always donates proceeds to conservation. Accompanied by my dear friend Laura it was a beautiful day!!

Orangevale brought a spread. Alicia and Laura providing tons of drinks, fresh vegetables, a bouquet of native plants!!

Do you SEE those baked goods? Zucchini bread and Pinapple upside down cake!!

Tree Folk came through the acorn mush! And bay nut chocolate goodies including acorn champurrado!! And lamb sausage.

Yo Mary Fairy brought some lemon grass confit and romesco with rustic crackers.

UCCE brought tons of snacks and goodies!

On top of that we all go to meet up each other, folks from all the orgs we’re working with, Harvest Certified folks and folks who’ve attended our events in the past!

It was great seeing everyone!!
