Kathy has been a dedicated member of the Modern team for 10 years, bringing experience, passion, and a love for helping others to her role. Married with one daughter, she values family both at home and in the workplace.

A devoted animal lover, Kathy fosters infant kittens for the Erie County SPCA and shares her home with her beloved Rottweiler, Bailey—one of our office mascots. When she’s not caring for animals, she enjoys spending time at the beach and relaxing at her home in Florida.

Kathy’s compassion, dedication, and vibrant spirit make her an invaluable part of our team.

Totally Buffalo Festival Returns to Buffalo Riverworks for 9th Annual Celebration of All Things Buffalo

The Totally Buffalo Festival is back for its 9th annual celebration of Buffalo pride - bringing together local shopping, food, entertainment and family fun for one unforgettable weekend at Buffalo Riverworks. The free event will take place on Saturday, May 23rd and Sunday, May 24th, 2026 from 10:00am to 5:00pm each day.

Hosted by Totally Buffalo (www.totallybuffalo.com), the festival celebrates everything Western New York with local vendors, Buffalo-themed merchandise, delicious food and drinks, family-friendly activities and more.

The Totally Buffalo Festival has grown into one of Western New York’s favorite community shopping and celebration events, drawing thousands of visitors each year while highlighting the people, businesses and traditions that make Buffalo unique.

“Our Totally Buffalo Festival has always been about celebrating the spirit, pride and people of Western New York,” said Mary Friona, co-owner of Totally Buffalo. “There is just something special about this community and this weekend gives everyone a chance to come together, support local businesses and celebrate the city we all love.”

Admission is free and all ages are welcome. Festival guests can expect:

Local shopping from Buffalo-area businesses and artisans
Buffalo-themed apparel, gifts and merchandise
Family-friendly activities
Food and drinks
Entertainment and community fun throughout the weekend
