Our "Sunday In The Garden" event postings have begun...

*** Complete information for our first of five events for 2026 is now available here on Facebook, our Facebook Group Page, and can also be found on our website www.LastingDreamsDaylilies.com

*** For the first time, we sent out a direct invite to those Facebook Followers, who have their settings to receive such invites. This is just to make everyone aware of the start of the event series, and of course the invite does extend to the additional four as well. However all our Followers and Group Members have a standing invite, even if they did not receive one directly. Additionally, friends and family can accompany you during your visit as your personal guests.

*** We look forward to seeing those of you who are able to attend one or more events this season. With the amounts of early rainfall, it should be a spectacular display of bloom for all to enjoy.

First Blooms Of The Season !!!

*** What we've been anticipating, has started to arrive. Starting a few days ago with "Buckeye" (a oldie from 1941), and soon followed by "Sweet Patootie", we are now seeing other Early Season daylilies starting their seasonal display of bloom.

*** Today it's "Busting Out All Over", and we're seeing a multitude of mature scapes on other cultivars, soon to make their appearance in the garden.

We are having issues with access to Facebook…

*** This post is coming through the Facebook App. However we prefer to utilize our computer for regular postings, and for days now, we are being blocked by the repeating “Capcha” circle of hell, to prove we’re not a robot, to another robot; how ironic.

*** Currently this is affecting our ability to welcome new members to our group, and hopefully we’ll find a way around this new Facebook issue in time to post our events.

*** We encourage everyone who connects to us through Facebook, to email us at [email protected] so we can build a list of contacts as we move forward to eventually dumping Facebook altogether; life is too short to keep dealing with ongoing issues.

*** Our Nursery has resumed operation for the Season, however Bloom Season doesn't really kick in until July.

*** We are in process of fulfilling pre-season orders, however we also able to accommodate new orders received by email, for either shipping or pickup.

*** If you are looking to acquire any of the daylilies we grow for planting now, if you know what you would like, our order form can be found on our website, or simply list your plants in your email; our catalog and pricing are available there as well. www.LastingDreamsDaylilies.com

*** If you wish to view most of the over 2000 daylily cultivars we feature, visit our page, where we host our catalog photo albums as a resource.

*** The only opportunity to shop for plants in person, it by attending one or more of our Private Events, scheduled throughout the season; watch for our event postings to follow soon. However, all those who follow us on Facebook, or are Members of our Facebook Group, are already considered "Registered Guests" for all those events.

*** For others curious about our events, pre-registration is available as a means to be added to the guest list: these are the only opportunities to view and shop from our Display Garden. Send your request to: [email protected]

Mark Your Calendar !!!

*** Here are our “Sunday in the Garden” event dates for 2026: 7/5, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2. These are all “Private Events”, available to our current or past customers, Facebook followers and Group Members, as well as those enrolled in our “Rewards Program”; plus their own personal guests.

*** Anyone who does not fall into one of these categories, can obtain a guest invite by contacting us prior to the event; once registered, all events are available to you. Contact us at: [email protected]

*** For 2026, we have standardized our event times for all five; we open at Noon, and will be available for our guests to visit up through 3:30 PM, with the gardens closing at 4:00 PM each Sunday.

*** Soon we will be publishing details for each individual event, as while the daylily bloom cycle will progress week to week, we will have distinct discount opportunities available only at each specific Sunday Event.

We’ve updated our 2026 Catalog Photo Albums…

*** Every year we edit our Catalog Photo Albums, to reflect new additions to our collection, as well as deleting those cultivars we no longer grow.

*** We will be adding additional images later in the season, once we have our new daylily introductions approved through the AHS Registration process. However our albums also include postings of our daylily registrations from previous years, and all these are available in our catalog.

*** Also featured is an album of our current selection of cultivars in our BOGO Promotion, however we haven’t edited that album for 2026, and many of those included are in very limited supply; if something catches your eye, contact us at [email protected], and we would be happy to check inventory, and reserve those if you wish.

Hi Everyone...

*** With some breaks in the weather, we've been diligently working to get things in order for the start of the 2026 Season. There is much work that goes on behind the scenes just to simply straighten out and tidy up the property, then the weeding will begin in earnest.

*** It is truly a "labor of love" as while we have some immediate family to help out on occasion, basically it's just the two of us doing all that's required to maintain an operation of this size.

*** This requires us to re-evaluate and adjust how we operate, so we're making the best use of our time, to best present the Display Garden and Property, as we head toward Peak Bloom Season, and our "Sunday In The Garden" event series.

*** One of the things on the chopping block is "Social Media" in general, and Meta/Facebook/Instagram in particular. We've previously cut back on our posts, but we keep encountering unwanted changes in their platforms, which require more attention and time then we wish to devote.

*** Watch for notifications as we decide what will be continued, and what will no longer be supported.
