We love dogs, but turns out they’re hard to win over with our loud chainsaws. I don’t blame them! 🌳🦴Huge thank you to for helping us make these DOG “TREE”ts 🌳🦴!! We’re so excited about them!

If we’re working at your house and your dog is on site, there’s a very good chance they’ll leave us a 5-star review after receiving one of these. 😂🐾

Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review, but this one honestly means a lot to us.

When we first started our tree business almost 8 years ago, we had NO idea what we were doing when it came to marketing. 😂 We literally had this tiny sign shoved in the corner of our Jeep window and just hoped somebody would call.

Somehow, this customer noticed us and took a chance on us anyway.

Fast forward years later, they’ve hired us multiple times, referred us to people, and have continued to support our family business the entire way. That kind of support is something we never forget.

It also made me think about how many small businesses are out there right now trying their hardest to make it work. Maybe their branding isn’t perfect yet, maybe their signs are small, maybe they’re still figuring things out behind the scenes. That’s honestly part of small business. Small signs, big dreams.

Now whenever I see a little handmade sign on the side of the road or a local company trying to get their name out there, I notice it differently. Because l get it!

So support the small businesses when you can. You never know how much that one phone call, referral, review, or job means to someone trying to build something for their family. ❤️

After Google deleted many of our reviews, we’re about to riot. Our “simple” reviews got flagged as fake. Has anyone had this happen?! So instead of rioting, we’re making this post 😂.

If you REALLY want to help a small business you love, here’s how to leave an absolutely elite Google review:

❌ “Great job!”
✅ “ClimbAxe Tree Services safely removed our massive dead cottonwood in Morgan, Utah and cleaned everything up perfectly.”

Why? Because Google is basically a weird robot that reads reviews looking for:
• what service was done
• where it was done
• if actual humans were happy 😂

So when you mention things like:
✔️ Tree removal
✔️ Tree trimming
✔️ Stump grinding
✔️ Emergency tree work
✔️ ISA Certified Arborist
✔️ Morgan / Ogden / Layton / Weber County / Davis County

…it genuinely helps Google understand what that business does and who to show them to when people search.

Basically:
The more detailed the review = the easier it is for local customers to FIND that business online.

And if you REALLY want to help?
ADD PHOTOS. 📸🌲

Google LOVES photos.
Customers love photos.
Small businesses love photos.

Photos help people:
• trust the company
• see the quality of work
• understand the size/scale of the project
• feel more confident hiring someone

BONUS POINTS if you mention:
• communication
• fair pricing
• cleanup
• safety
• professionalism
• great customer service

Honestly one thoughtful review helps small businesses WAY more than people realize. Word of mouth is still king, the internet just made it digital.

And yes… we absolutely read every single review, they always make our day!

If you have a large dead cottonwood tree, it’s best to get it removed sooner rather than later.

Here’s why:
Removal gets more expensive the longer you wait. If the tree is still climbable, meaning it has solid live limbs we can safely tie into, the job is usually much cheaper. Once the tree becomes too dead or brittle to climb safely, a crane is often needed, which can greatly increase the cost.

Waiting can also lead to serious property damage. Dead cottonwoods can fall without much warning, especially during wind or storms. If the tree damages your home, fence, vehicles, or a neighbor’s property, repairs can get expensive fast. In some situations, insurance may deny coverage if the tree was clearly dead and left untreated.

Cottonwoods also tend to rot from the inside out. That decay creates shelter for pests like mice, rats, termites, and woodpeckers. Over time, those problems can spread to nearby trees, fences, sheds, or even your home.
There’s also the fire risk. During hot, dry summers, large dead trees become extremely flammable and can put nearby homes and structures at greater risk.

Taking care of a dead tree early is usually far safer and far less expensive than waiting until it becomes an emergency.

We are licensed, certified, and even offer in house financing. Call or text: (801)888-1825 to schedule a free estimate.
