The class of 2020 has had a pretty hard road to navigate. Tonight Tori asked if I as Cardinal Electric Company would drive her in the graduation parade. It was a pleasure to do so to honor this years high school graduates. However I would like to take the time to remind everyone as this time and new normal may be hard there exist a generation that has had it worse. There were a lot of high school graduates that went from high school to the jungle warfare of Vietnam. My father being one of those graduates. And un like today they weren’t welcomed back home as hero’s. They were spit on, called baby killers, and regarded with no respect. I say this not to take the attention from the class of 2020. But to remind the world of today that it doesn’t matter if you are a republican or democratic. Straight or homosexual. We as a country need to remember that it doesn’t matter if we view decisions differently. That we are all humans. There are only two defining people who give us the given rights as an American. Jesus Christ and and the American soldier. I hope today in this world we remember that we are all humans. And respect for each other is the easiest thing to give. A little kindness goes a long way. People need to be people, nothing more or less. And that is when it will not matter the pandemic that we face, because we will finally realize that united we will stand.
