Confession Time ⏰ …..

I may, or may not have killed several plants on purpose. 🤫 When I first started collecting plants I would take any plant a person threw my way. But as the collection grows you’ve got to make room for the better specimens right?? So in the compost they went after letting die of starvation and neglect. ☠️

The better thing to do however, is give them away for free! Either at plant swaps or just put on the side of the road with a sign that reads “Take One”. 👍🏻

Love helping friends find plants.🪴
Even all the way in Utah. 🤠♥️

Hannah, the wonderful human in the picture next to me. Decided to go with the , great choice in my opinion. She doesn’t get much light in her home. 💡 but that’s ok, because he doesn’t need it.

One thing to watch out for is spider mites. 🕷 They tend to be magnets for them. 🧲 It’s a good idea to clean the leaves regularly. 🧽 🍃

💦 Wait til the first couple inches of soil dry before watering. Try your best not to let the soil dry completely.

It’s important to also note that alocasias may go dormant (typically in the winter❄️) All their leaves will die back, leaving just the bulb. You can save the bulb to replant when light increases… or you can try to get him to grow back by using a grow light, or even just moving it to a brighter spot. ☀️

All around gorgeous plant that is sure to make a statement, and looks best when grouped with other plants. 🪴🪴🪴

Honestly, I go from a high to low what seems like daily. One minute I feel on top of the world and the next I wonder what the hell im doing with my life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But Aurora is that light at the end of the tunnel. I keep going because I want to prove to her that you can reach your dreams it just takes a lot of hard work, dedication and a whole lot of believing in yourself. So we keep on going 😌…
