Today, we pay tribute to one of the most decorated American combat soldiers in history — Audie Murphy. Born into poverty in rural Texas, Murphy rose through the ranks with unmatched bravery, serving in World War II and earning every major U.S. military combat award for valor — including the Medal of Honor, which he received at just 19 years old.

His courage in the face of overwhelming odds, especially when he single-handedly held off an entire company of German soldiers in France, stands as a shining example of what it means to serve with honor, grit, and sacrifice.

After the war, Murphy continued to serve his country through film and advocacy, using his platform to bring awareness to the struggles of veterans, especially those facing PTSD.

🇺🇸 Honoring Jimi Hendrix’s Military Service 🇺🇸

Before he became a legendary guitarist and music icon, Jimi Hendrix proudly served in the United States Army. In 1961, he enlisted and trained as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne Division, also known as the “Screaming Eagles.” He completed over 25 jumps and was awarded the prestigious Screaming Eagles patch.

Though his time in the military was brief, Hendrix carried the discipline and perspective he gained into his music career. His story reminds us that even the most revolutionary artists often have roots in service, sacrifice, and dedication to something greater than themselves.

Today, we remember and thank Jimi Hendrix — not just for changing the sound of rock and roll, but for serving his country with honor. 🎸🇺🇸

Today we take a moment to honor not just the cinematic legacy of Charles Bronson, but his remarkable service to our country.
Before he became a tough-as-nails icon on screen, Bronson served with distinction in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. As a tail gunner on a B-25 bomber in the Pacific Theater, he flew 25 Combat Missions and was awarded a Purple Heart for wounds received in battle.
His grit, humility, and strength weren't just roles he played-they were apart of who he was.
We salute Charles Bronson-actor, veteran, and true American patriot. 🙌🇺🇸

Today, we honor Lee Marvin-not only a legendary actor but also a true American hero. Before his rise to Hollywood fame, Marvin served with distinction as a U.S. Marine during World War II. He fought bravely as a scout sniper in the Pacific and was seriously wounded in the Battle of Saipan. His courage earned him the Purple Heart and lasting respect from his fellow Marines. Marvin's real-life combat experience brought unmatched authenticity to his iconic roles, and he remained forever proud of his service. We remember and salute his sacrifice and dedication.
