First and foremost, my team and I would like to offer our sincerest apologies to our valued clients and prospective clients for falling short in our customer care over the past few weeks. This is not offered as an excuse, but rather a heartfelt request for understanding as we navigate a new normal following the loss of my father, Dr. Thomas G. Sawyer.
Our team is a small, family-run group made up of myself, my sons, Matt and Tom; my sister, Michele; and my wife. As both a business and a family, this loss has touched each of us deeply.
We said our final goodbye yesterday morning after my father courageously battled cancer over the past few years. He was a profound and guiding presence in my life and in the life of our family. I miss him deeply, his daily calls, the lessons he shared so generously, and the stories of his many adventures, the true tales of the real Tom Sawyer.
While life does move forward, grief takes its own time. We remain committed to our clients and to the work we do, and we will return to our usual pace and level of service very soon. We simply ask for a little grace and patience as we take a moment to mourn the loss of an extraordinary man and an irreplaceable presence in our lives.
Thank you sincerely for your kindness, compassion, and understanding during this difficult time.
