Buddy of mine bought a new cargo trailer he wanted to use at pyrotechnic camp outs and for storing his fireworks in he is shooting that weekend.
Wired the trailer for A/C, lights and plugs, he has three outlets inside and one outside all on a GFI for added safety as well as being on breakers.
Cargo trailer get hot during the day as they have no insulation at all, he wanted that corrected and we added a rooftop A/C, we started with one inch in between the frame rails, then he said he wanted it insulated good we added another inch on top of that on top of the frame with new plywood.
Then painted the walls and floor, anti-slip on floor, built shelves and combo work table/bed that can be folded up out of the way with storage under it too.
I put him a lift up door in front shelf to make it easy pulling the 30 foot 30 amp power cord back it without climbing under the desk/ shelve and get to the breakers or GFI easy, then stained it to protect it from grease stains from hands or eating and keep splinters down.
The two LED lights have a separate switches, A/C remote is hanging right above them so he can have cool or heat as needed.
Then after we got a break in the rain I got the windows put in, so when he gets trapped inside during a rain storm or just staying cool it won't feel like he is shut up in a box, that was my idea, as I have been there done that in mine at campouts, have two to put in mine too.
It was a lot of work and took almost a month with all the rain we were getting too, that is why a few shots the painted floor was covered with mud from Diesel my dog running in and out.
Lot of hard work and the only thing I didn't like, now I have to do mine next because I love the way this stays cool in the heat and quieter inside with the two inches of insulation.

This was a job that took some engineering as the doors were made to be wall hangers, many told them it wouldn't work, but they were wrong!
The doors were 48 inches, and the opening was 53 inches, so I needed to make it 49 inches to give me an inch in between them, so no little fingers get pinched.

As I knew the grandkids would be there for Christmas and would be playing with them but did it for the adults too, then had to make them the same height and hanging even.

So I bought an 8 foot 2x2 that measures 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches, then had to make it 1 x 1 1/2 inches, so the two-way hinges would work right, turned out great the only ones who didn't care for it was the cats, who are now kept to the family room by it.

They said everyone that came over was saying how good they looked and worked, the hard jobs to do make you proud when it comes out as planned

Working on the work truck, just put a newer bed on it as the old had been hit many times and the inside rusting away from hauling bleach over 16 years for house cleaning.

Put my slide bed in the diesel and dressed it up some with walls and a pocket upfront for some tools too and dropped my topper back on so now ready to work again

Lulu and I had a busy month, I got started on Sept 1st doing the garage door opener first, so they could get in and out as they were going to have an estate sale for Joshs Uncle that died.
He was a collector and the house was full so we stayed clear till the 15th the day after the sale was over, the house had crown molding in the whole house including the bathrooms, all had bad caulking on them applied wrong, so we had to do the whole upstairs and down.
I did the master bedroom and it took me four hours as it had three layers of molding to do, then thank God Josh wanted the hot water heater changed out as the old one was leaking, so I got free of the caulking while Lulu put in seven hours doing that day and about 12 hours in two days before she got done.
I had plenty of other stuff to keep me busy, adding wood putty to the door frame the sheriff's dept damaged and destroyed the door but I didn't want to replace the whole frame as it had a skylight too as well as being embedded in stucco, so over three days I added putty and shaped the door frame to look close to new again.
We replaced all the faucets in three of the bathrooms with double sinks, along with getting walls patched and textured for the painters.
Then we had a day at another customer to change two faucets on the new countertops and I got to change the garden tub diverter, all sweated on and I got to do upside-down without melting all the plastic around the connections after making it fit by hogging the holes out to fit.
Then we had an attic ladder to mount and a few other jobs and the 10/12 we did the stairs for a great brother at Church plus changing out two water bibs and had the gate valve to shut the water off to the house fail in the closed position, so I went to eat lunch at 4pm and it was dark-thirty by the time I was finished but was a good day.

Finished the ramp we started Friday labor day weekend, Saturday I came back and used wood putty to fill holes and make the handrail look like one solid piece except for the spot where I had a post in the middle of it.
Then Monday I spent an hour sanding the handrail, then coated it with an oil-based stain to protect from weather and hand oils.
Then added an aluminum transition bar so you don't have a 3/4 inch edge to trip you and make it easier if she needs a wheelchair for her mother who is going through chemotherapy right now.
So say a prayer for her mother, God knows who she is

Spent 8 and half hours at Marvin's house, helping them combine two house holds after Sydelle passed a month ago.

Daughter and Son-n-law are moving in to help Marvin out, He gave up the master bedroom to them, he said i don't need all that space anymore and moved into one of the four bedrooms.

I built some shelves in the attic for storage last week so they would have plenty of storage space.

I spent the day jumping around from job to job, got Dana's office set up in Sydell's old one, glad I have a laser or this would have taken a lot longer.to lay out placement.

I started in the middle row and had them centered on the wall covering 6 ft x 6.5ft wide, then hung the middle one left and right I centered on the middle of the frames since they were an inch smaller than the main one.

Top ones were done the same since up are looking up at them you want the focal centers the same, the bottom three I leveled to the top of the frames since they were so low.

Then the two pictures coming in the door are leveled off the bottom of the middle pictures, her ship over the closet door was too easy.

Added two new shelves to Marvins office to make room for more award ships Marvin got over all the years he worked in the tour business that Dana had at her townhouse, she is still working the business.

I have hung just about all the art hanging on the walls over the last four years since they moved up from Miami

I'm just glad I didn't have to do the moving they still have a long way to go on that, then I will see if I need to do some work on the townhouse getting it ready to rent out

I made a shower curtain rod for a garden tub.for a customer who had his leg removed and needed a way to shower.

His has a seat he can get on and slide into the tub as it is half in and half out, He wanted a good hand wand that was good and long, the ones you buy aren't made for tubs.

I got a 10-foot piece of 1/2 rigid pipe and bent it a few times to span the window 53 inches, come out 40 inches with a 36-inch opening.

Hung two shower curtains on each side of the support rod going to the ceiling to give good support if he slipped, have him surrounded with curtains now, so fewer worries about splash

Then converted the tub faucet to accept an RV 15ft hose, hooked a nozzle up, He could turn on and off on the handle, no dropping it and soaking the bathroom, he can set the temp and just shut it down at the nozzle

I don't know why anybody invites me over to their house, a new house to them just painted, not only do I cut holes all over then my helper steps through the ceiling.

He should have called me before painting anyway, He wanted five ceiling fans put up, two where no problem, the other three had no ceiling lights or power ran from the switch to attic.

So had to cut walls open to make to run wires, had to cut attic access with the vaulted ceilings no getting there from the garage, thank God there was plenty of room on that side of the house in the attic, we could walk upright and not crawl through 14 inches of fiberglass.

Installed three fan brace boxes hung fans and they worked, I'm too lazy to do it twice so make sure to do it right the first time!

Then worked on making it look like we weren't there, the only pain he didn't have was the two bedrooms but they had the code and said he would take care of them, we had the paint for the main part of the house so most got hid before we left.

Did take three days on and off with a half-day finding out for sure what we needed to do and cut holes, then a whole day to get er did and sealed back up and start the patching and texturing process and finish with two trips the 3rd day between doing other jobs and an estimate while it was drying

That allowed me to keep the price down some for them
