Creamy Italian Sausage Pasta 🍝🌶️🧀✨
Rich, creamy, and packed with bold Italian flavors.
Ingredients:
• 12 oz pasta shells or other short pasta
• 1 lb hot Italian sausage
• 1 medium white onion, minced
• 5 garlic cloves, minced
• 2/3 cup dry white wine
• 2 cups heavy cream
• 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
• 4 oz pepper jack cheese, shredded
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1.Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2.In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-low heat, breaking it into small pieces.
3.Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
4.Remove excess grease if needed.
5.Pour in the white wine and simmer until reduced by half.
6.Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
7.Add the Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
8.Mix in the Parmesan and pepper jack cheese until melted and smooth.
9.Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
10.Serve hot with extra Parmesan if desired.
