Hello!
Our apologies for not keeping you better informed about The Cottage/our seasonal plant sales first held this spring. Time/life (and me forgetting to hit the 'post' button mid-June LOL) got away from us!
We planned to open again for the fall season. Two things stopped us. The steep increase in supplier delivery charges; and, the need found in spring for a bit more infrastructure. Shade structure and drip irrigation. Both not possible at the site.
We spent the summer propogating/growing at our own place around the corner. We have more space, ability to irrigate and provide better cover and a small greenhouse. Next year we hope to offer a larger variety of seasonal plants from our own place.
Many thanks to Sandy Gilliam - and to all of you that came and bought so many plants and accessories from us! It was a success - and more - we have had a blast meeting so many local new friends.
Meantime, we'd love to hear your input on what other events you'd be interested in us organizing there. Message us! We'll be having a sale on garden items to make room for some other event/activities on Orlean Day Saturday Oct 8th from 11-4pm.
