Today, a lady approached me and asked if I could cut her grass. I said absolutely! She then asked if I could start next month, as that’s when her next check comes in. I agreed, but she wanted to know how much it would cost. I explained that I would need to take a look at her yard first.

When I examined the yard, I noticed it hadn’t been cut in over a month, so the grass was very high. I provided her with a price for the initial cut, but she mentioned that she couldn’t pay that amount until next month.

I told her that sometimes it’s not just about the money; it's about helping our neighbors. So, I decided to cut her grass today, especially since she has a dog that needs a well-maintained yard. I said she could pay me when she’s able to. Now, I’ve picked up another client, and this is why I do what I do. God is good!
