What would Athelbert say about Orrington's public safety building?
The Orrington Historical Society‘s March meeting is being held at the Orrington Fire and Rescue (271 Center Drive) from 6:30 to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 18. Please park out back and use the training room door. OHS members and the public will have a tour by fire department personnel. Light refreshments to follow, and remember that every day we live and work is a day in history!
I wonder if I batted my eye lashes and asked sweetly, maybe a fireman would let me sit in a truck? Then again, it’s challenging to look beguiling when you only have nine lashes on one eye and six on the other.
