NEW VENDOR SPOTLIGHT🌟Couchador Crafts
A few things about me.....
I am born and raised here in WA. I grew up in Federal Way. I'm married and have a beautiful daughter we are very proud of. We moved to the Graham/Orting area in 1998. I have a background in retail and merchandising for 35 years. I've been a scrapbooker for just as long. Family is important to me and I enjoy documenting our memories. In the last six years I took an interest in junk journal making and also slowstitch which led me to start repurposing more than paper scraps and fabric. It brings me joy seeing a smile on people's faces when they pick up one of our creations.
My husband is my biggest fan. He has always supported my endeavors, but has recently joined me in creating too. We like to treasure hunt at thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets and making fun things from our finds, like our teapot birdhouses and coffeepot ladies. We make a great team!
Our other passion is our dogs. We've had labrador retrievers since we got married. Our chocolate lab Cooper likes his couch. One day my husband said to him, "You're a Couchador!" I decided that would be a fun name for my business, so Couchador Crafts was created.
I am feeling very blessed and excited about this opportunity to be a vendor at The Mercantile here in Orting. We have a beautiful city full of wonderful people!
