When setting up tip ups, what is your go to fishing line, what pound test line, what color and do you use a leader or not? I thought it would be interesting to see how different everyones set up is. Pic is just to get your attention.

Trolling is heating up on Green Bay and on Lake Winnebago and now is the time to run harnesses. I have a line of baits called Scootchie Rigs. These are just crawler harnesses with an added squid on them to give them better action. Even if you lose your crawler, you still have the squid working for you under the water.If you do not like the squid, just tear em off and go without it. The name Scootchie Rig, comes from the nickname of my daughter. I used to call her Scootch and years ago she used to sit around the coffee table with me and we would tie harnesses. I am willing to bet that she can probably out tie a lot of people. I have 5 different colors available and you can see them in the pictures above. These feature 10 pound line, 6 feet long. You can cut them to whatever length you need. #5 colorado blade, and an interchangeable clevis that was designed to prevent the loss of blades. They also have #2 blood red hooks. I also sell interchangeable clevises and #2 blood red octopus hooks. The hooks were designed by me and they are patterned after VMC hooks, except, I used a softer metal in them so I was not breaking hooks when taking them out of a fish. I am offering my followers a great deal, so here we go.

For those who do not know... Braun's Deer Run Golf Course in Brillion has been hit very hard by all the recent storms. Lots of flooding and the course is in rough shape on a few holes. Please come golf it and show support. The brand new mini golf course is a great place for the kids and a great place for a family outing. I do not ask anything from any of my followers ever, bit this is my community and we need to help! I am in no way even connected to the course or this tourney. I just feel it is something we can all do to help out a small local business owner. Fish this tourney and show support. After the tourney, come on over to the clubhouse and buy some food, get in on the 50/50 raffle, and have a drink or two.
