Iโd like to apologize for my post the other day.
My staff and I often decorate our storefront window not only to showcase the products we carry, but also to show support for members of our community. It was never my intention for that post to become a platform for negativity or hateful comments.
To those most affected, members of the LGBTQ+ community. I am truly sorry that my post brought out some of the worst behavior from a small group of individuals. While some may claim to act out of good intentions, their words often reflect judgment and hostility toward people who are simply living as their authentic selves.
Iโm sorry that this kind of treatment is something many of you may face every day. I cannot imagine what it feels like to be judged simply for being who you are. Please know that you are seen, you are valued, and you are loved. Thank you for being exactly who you are.
Hate has a way of consuming people, and overconsumption of anything can become destructive. For those who choose to spread hatred, I encourage you to remember that Jesus did not die for only some peopleโs sins, He died for all of us. Before speaking with anger or judgment, remember the grace and compassion we are all called to extend to one another.
Thank you to everyone who continues to lead with kindness, understanding, and love.
Here is the newest addition to our shop window:
Nazar
The Evil Eye is a symbol found in many cultures around the world and is traditionally believed to offer protection against negativity, envy, and harmful intentions. For generations, people have worn or displayed it as a reminder to focus on kindness, positivity, and the things that bring us together rather than the things that divide us.
After the conversations sparked by our last window display, this piece felt especially meaningful. It serves as a reminder that while negativity can be loud, it does not have to define us. Compassion, understanding, and respect for one another will always be stronger.
No matter who you are, who you love, how you identify, or where your journey has taken you, you deserve to feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
We hope this new addition brings a little beauty, a little protection, and a little reminder that there is far more good in this world than hate.
Stop by and take a look, we'd love to share it with you.
