They say that preventative maintenence is worth it, well, it's only worth it if you do it! This particular job was for my newly pregnant daughter and her husband. A little back story, she purchased her home about a year ago, the previous owner apparently did not do ANY preventive maintenance. The gas furnace in her home stopped heating. Come to find out that the main blower motor vent holes were plugged from dust and animal fur causing the motor to overheat and fail. The motor by itself was $250!! Of course as the loving father that I am, didn't charge a penny for any labor. I was very happy to be able to help her with this as her house was only at 58 degrees! The moral to this this story is, don't let this happen to you! As my mother always said "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!"
