One of my favorite beach house hacks comes straight from my garden. 🌿☀️

Before our trip, I harvested several aloe leaves from home and brought them with me to process at the beach house. In this video, I’m removing one side of the skin, cutting the aloe gel into cubes, and freezing them individually so they don’t clump together. Once frozen, I’ll transfer them to a bag and keep them in the freezer for easy use.

After a day in the sun, there’s nothing better than rubbing a frozen aloe cube on your face and skin. It’s cooling, moisturizing, and dries without feeling sticky.

Just another reason I love growing aloe in my garden. 💚

Harvested my garlic & onions today 🧄🧅
Planted back in November… and yeah, they’re still on the smaller side 😅
BUT they’re bigger than last year, so I’ll take that as a win.
Homegrown always tastes better anyway 💚

Little chicken update 🐓
Took some advice from all the chicken people on here and I seriously appreciate it.
Already seeing some changes over here 🙌
Still learning as I go, but grateful for this community 💚

Trying something new over here… adding baby chicks to a broody hen 🐓
Best time to do this is at night when everyone is calm and she’s in full mama mode.
Hoping she wakes up tomorrow and decides they’re hers 🤞
We’ll see what she thinks 😅

Okay chicken people… I need your help 😅
How do I get these girls to lay in their nesting boxes AND sleep in their coop?!
They have a beautiful setup and still choose chaos 😂
Give me all your tips 👇 🐔

She’s cute… but she’s not staying 😂
Wood sorrel spreads from little bulbs underground, so if you don’t get the whole thing, it’s coming right back.
Quick garden rule: pull it right or pull it twice.

utting down this strawberry tree today.

Freeze damage + fruit no one really loved = time to go.

Making space for something that makes more sense for this garden.

Planting watermelon seeds (moon & stars 🌙✨) and tossing in some zinnias too… a little late? maybe. but gardening is one big experiment and I’m here for it 💚

I love laying banana leaves down when I plant seeds—something I’ve done for a while now. As they break down, they slowly release potassium, help hold moisture in the soil, and keep those tiny seeds from drying out in this Florida heat. Plus… let’s be honest, they just look cool 💚

If you have banana plants, you already know… you’ve got plenty of leaves. Might as well put them to work 💚
