CSA Week 5!
Not quite as full this week, but we’re starting to harvest some of our summer veggies, and next week we should have a few new items too.
It’s hard to believe the season is halfway through already!
This week we’ve got:
Swiss chard 🥬
Kale bundles (2-3 varieties combined)
Buttercrunch bibb lettuce (3-4 heads) 🥗Squash & zucchini
Green onions 🧅
COMING SOON:
We have PORK available! If you wanted a hog share but couldn’t commit to that much meat at once, we are now able to offer pork by the pound! Bacon, sausage, pork steaks, ham and more. If you’re interested, reach out about pricing.
CHICKEN-
We are processing our last round of chickens for ourselves on Saturday, June 27th. However, we do have extras available. We will not be processing anymore meat (chicken or pork) until next spring or summer. So if you want to stock up on pastured, organic meat, now is the time. I’ll post a preorder form tomorrow for chickens.
FARMSTAND-
In the coming weeks, the farmstand will be reopening at a new location. We will have some produce and eggs available, and eventually some new canned and baked goods. We’re still unsure of the reopening date, but I’ll update when we know.
