One of the best things I ever did in my garden was let a carrot go to seed.

It was completely unplanned ... I had just been experimenting with planting carrots seeds at different times of the growing season & had planted some in late Summer. They didn't really do much, but did winter over and sent up blooms the following spring. Pollinators loved the blooms and a bazillion carrot seeds were planted by the wind!!

And now this year, I have so so so so so many carrots 😍

If you have never harvested carrots, it is seriously one of the best things ever!

Yikes, it has been a while since I've posted 🫣 ...

Hoping on here to share some of the beautiful things that are currently blooming!! I feel like I have some varieties of flowers blooming earlier than I've ever had before.... Anyone else?

I can already tell this year I'm going to have an abundance of flowers and am hoping I can find someone local to partner with in some capacity.... Ideally I think I'd like to find a local business (or two) that may be interested in purchasing fresh flowers each week to use. I'm picturing a local restaurant or establishment that likes to have fresh flowers out each week....

Is that you or someone you know? Let's get in touch if so 💗. I am also already starting to dry flowers and will have those available at the end of the season.

Flowers, fillers and textures I'm growing this year:
-Sea holly
-Ageratum
-midnight Nigella
-Apricotta Cosmo
-Snapdragon
-Zinnia
-Celosia
-Amaranth
-Basil
-Flowering Dill
-Jewrels of Opar
-Dahlia
-Chinese Lantern
-Strawflower

Is there any interest here for bunches of dried flowers? I have so many ready to go and just haven’t had the time to work with them this year 🫣

Lots of pinks purples and whites - perfect for Valentine’s Day. Dried flowers are everlasting! No dyes or harsh chemicals used 💕

This bunch here has around 20 stems and I would ask $10.

I also have lots of orange & white.

Comment below or message me if interested ☺️

I finished a neutral colored wreath today - I love the combo of light greens & whites.

All wreaths start from seeds that I plant and grow 💚 I harvest and dry the flowers and then handmade each wreath.

This type of wreath is everlasting and is meant to be enjoyed inside and out of nature’s elements.

It’s been a while since I posted here 🫣🥴 but I wanted to share some wreaths and pumpkins I have available for purchase!

Wreaths are everlasting - meaning if taken care of they will last for a very long time. These are not meant to be exposed to the elements (precipitation, wind, sunlight, etc) and are meant to be enjoyed inside or at another covered spot!! All flowers were grown from seed by me in this year’s garden 😍

Pumpkins have a base (at its widest) of 4-6 in. The pumpkins will also last a long time (I have had previous customers mention their’s have lasted well after Christmas!) I am terrible at pictures and so I took videos of the pumpkins and they will post in the comment section of this post ⬇️ All pumpkins are $15 each.

If you want to claim something, please comment ‘sold,’ or ‘me’ under the picture/video for the individual item. I don’t currently have PayPal or Venmo unfortunately because my accounts got compromised and it made me nervous to start a new one. We will figure something out!

✨UPDATE: SOLD ❤️

This rainbow wreath is still available - it started on an 18” frame and with greens and dried flowers it fills up a 22”-24” diameter.

A mix of greens including cedars and spruce 💚 All the color you see is created from dried flowers from this year’s garden.

I’d really like to see this one find just the right front door!

PPU at my home, price reduced to $100

As much as I love incorporating pops of color into wreaths, the wild and green ones will always be my favorite. 😍

I hope my neighbors weren’t watching this impromptu photo session this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️🥴

I haven’t done this in a while so I figured it would be nice for today ☺️-

Hi 👋🏻 I’m Kristina. I like to call myself a wreath maker and everything I’ve learned in the last three years has been self-taught. I just have a real passion for showing others what colors come from nature and hopefully inspiring others to grow something just for fun.

I have a bachelors in elementary education and a masters in reading and language arts with an emphasis in young adult literature. I had to resign from teaching during my 10th year when our youngest son was born with complex medical needs and needed a parent who could be with him full-time.

Wreath-making just came to me one year when I wanted to create an evergreen wreath for our front door. Ever since I’ve just been in love with the textures and colors that evergreens offer us and constantly feel like I have to show them off so others appreciate them as much 🤓 I also grow my own wreath garden, all from seed, that gives me flowers to dry and use in wreath making.

I’m not a factory and I don’t mass produce. I work when I can and I create what brings me joy. If something that brought me joy to create sparks joy in someone else, then that’s all I can ask for.

Purple is one of my favorite colors to use in wreaths because it is the color my best friend uses to remember her daughter Sylvia. Every time I incorporate purple into a wreath I feel like I am making it with Sylvia and like I get to introduce her to someone else 💜

I tried a rainbow wreath for the first time this year, and it just brought me so much joy. I can’t stop smiling when I look at it. From the Rattail statice to the Dill and Fennel seed heads and the purple Strawflower…. It is a story from this year’s garden.

Enjoy these awkward photos of me in our backyard using the timer on my phone for the first time 😝
