Part 1 of 2. The washer had a manufacturing defect in the door sensor causing water to flood the main level and leave it to gravity to reek havoc on the basement ceiling. If you have never experienced a water loss it's a lot of fans and humidifiers in hopes the home can be properly dried out and that there is no need for 2' flood cuts in the drywall. Keep in mind the damage it causes on flooring and millwork . Paul installed all new drywall in the basement, of course three coats of mud, texture and trim install. No painting on walls on his part for this project. He also painted and installed the dry bar cabinets. For the main level it was the drywall install from start to finish on all flood cuts along with trim install for the living room, dining room and bathroom/laundry. In the kitchen Paul painted and reinstalled the kitchen island that was removed when the initial loss started. The flooring was not installed by Paul but it's beautiful!

Water loss in the basement thankfully the damage was minimal. Paul installed drywall for the 2' flood cuts, applied mud, sand and texture then painted ceiling, walls, trim and doors. All that's left is the homeowner to decide on carpet and arrange the room back to normal!

It breaks our heart when we find out a previous contractor performs horrible work and asked the homeowner to pay them again to correct it. 😤🤔Paul cut out the previous contractor's drywall patch and now you can't even tell it was there. The homeowner also requested fresh new paint on the walls and ceiling throughout.
