a special blend of crushed marble, glass frit, and polyester resin and/or alumina trihydrate fillers. These materials are mixed, and then poured into special designs and cured to a specified hardness. They can be molded into any shape, color and design, resulting in a one-piece seamless figure such as bathtubs, lavatories and shower receptors. NOTICE~ COLOR/PICTURE DISCLAIMER
Cultured marble is a unique product. Not unlike natural marble, the color intensity and veining of each part is different from that of any other part. Variations in shading and veining are inherent characteristics of the product and one of its beauties. We provide pictures/samples as a basic color reference and we will never imply that the part shipped will be an exact carbon copy of the sample/picture. There is an acceptable degree of variation for which allowances must be made.

K & D Marble is currently accepting applications for Production Workers.
**Pay Starting at $12.50 hour**
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, seeking a challenging and rewarding career. Preferred skill/traits are as follows: detail oriented, good communication skills, ability to read a tape measure, proficiency in basic mathematics, and knowledge & experience of construction.
Responsibilities:
*Must be dependable and able to be at work on time everyday.
*Be able to read and use a tape measure and grease pencil to measure and mark mold surfaces.
*Place dividers onto mold to set the overall length of the counter top.
*Place the correct bowl mold onto the top mold.
*Clay the dividers and bowl molds into place.
*Setup panel, shower base, vanity top and accessory molds.
*Check the overall dimensions and specifications for accuracy.
*Use spray equipment to apply gel-coat and spray granite to the mold.
Requirements:
*Attention to detail
*Ability to follow established processes
*Focus on quality standards
*Must be dependable and able to be at work on time everyday.
*Self-Motivated
*Will train the right candidate.
This position has the following requirements: physical demands including lifting and carrying heavy material while standing for extended periods of time. It also requires the practice of safe work ethics, ability to be punctual, and someone who is dependable and responsible. Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.
