Our Keys to Memory fundraiser starts today!

For a minimum $10 donation, you will receive a gift of a Santa key. Add it to a wreath, centerpiece, or tree this holiday season so Santa can get in and out with ease!

100% of donations will go directly to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. The work they do towards the goal of preserving the memoires we make as we gather for the season can not be understated, and almost 90% of every dollar they receive goes directly to research.

We are starting small because this is a first for us, we have 20 keys at current setting a goal this year for a $200 donation by the end of the year! If they go fast, we will look into restocking. Again, minimum $10, and of course, you can make a donation without a key if you would like, or you can donate more!

Thank you to everyone considering donating; a like and a share goes a long way too!

Phone service has been spotty this evening (AT&T) if you can't get a hold of us don't give up. Hopping wifi spots to get to base and checking frequently for updates and notifications.

The hurricane situation is tragic, I can't imagine the loss waiting for them behind that door.

However, when people ask us about these electronic locks the first thing I stress is a keyed backup. These locks are exposed to the elements and any number of things can happen with electronic componets. Having that tried and true backup is always a good option because unless you have another way in we may have to break that lock off the door and these don't come cheap.

With cooler weather coming those locks may start giving you some trouble! Frames expanding and shrinking from day/night temp change, pins doing the same on worn keys.

I am still working with them on the URL, but the County Advisory Board has recognized us for excellent and valuable service to the local community! Taking a moment today to discuss future rate increases

In the interest of transparency, we are informing all of you that within a year or so, we will have to raise rates to compensate for an added expense, many locksmiths I imagine will be doing the same. We will have to join NASTIF, a locksmithing organization to continue to program car keys, our programmers simply won't work without this connection.

We are highly resistant to this change and are putting off joining as long as possible while NASTIF works out real benefits to us and you, as well as implementing a lower membership fee that would result in a lower increase in rates.

We realize that key programming is a valueable and neccessary service in this area, and with NASTIF coming in, the future of getting keys programmed at hardware stores or mechanic shops could be in jepordy as well as they wouldn't have access to NASTIF as we understand it. More information will be available in the coming months, and know we are doing all we can to keep prices affordable to everyone! Thank you for your continued support
