Sometimes the best cabinetry is the kind you don't even realize is there.

We just completed this custom-built IT/server closet cabinet for a client in Goleta, and we are absolutely thrilled with how it turned out!

From the outside: sleek, minimal, and beautiful. Wood grain finish, black dot hardware, full-height doors with concealed hinges. You'd never know what's hiding inside.

From the inside: a fully loaded server rack, patch panels, network switches, and complete cable management — all perfectly organized and totally accessible when needed.

Refacing old commercial cabinetry might seem like a smart way to save money on a project — but in our 35+ years of experience, it almost always costs more than it's worth.

Here's the reality:

🦠 You're inheriting someone else's problems — warped plywood, moisture, and mold get covered up, not fixed.
💸 The "savings" disappear fast — hidden prep costs and extra site visits eat into your budget before you know it.
📐 You're locked into the old layout — no reconfiguring, no optimizing, no improving.
🚫 Code compliance issues don't go away — refacing doesn't bring old cabinetry up to current standards.
⚙️ The interior stays old — aging drawer boxes, shelf pins, and worn hardware are still underneath.
🎨 Material options are severely limited — you can't use Corian or HPL on old substrates.

This retail jewelry and sales island was built for a Ross store in the 1980s — and if you zoom in on the clothing racks in the background, you'll get the full 80s experience. High-waisted jeans and all. 😄

This island had EVERYTHING that made the decade iconic:

✨ Plastic laminate (HPL) finishes — sleek, durable, and oh-so-80s
🥇 Decorative metal trim in gold/brass tones — because it wasn't the 80s without a little glam
