I was talking with a client today, and they told me they found my business through Facebook.
They said a few months ago someone was looking for a painter in one of the local Facebook groups, and four or five people recommended Meeks-It-Up Painting.
I know a handful of you who recommend me all the time, and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. But I also know there are plenty of recommendations that happen behind the scenes that I never even hear about.
So to every single person who’s ever recommended my business, shared one of my posts, left a review, tagged me in a comment, or simply told a friend or neighbor about us…

As a small business owner, word of mouth is everything. A recommendation from someone in the community means more than any advertisement I could buy.
Support doesn’t always cost money. In fact, most of the time it’s completely free. A recommendation, a share, a comment, or simply mentioning my name when someone asks for a painter can make a bigger difference than you probably realize.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the years. Whether you’ve hired me, recommended me, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, I’m incredibly grateful.
