This project was in a beautifully restored home in south city, Benton Park I think. A definite improvement. The handles and k***s were already very cool and I reused them. But the soft close hinges are a nice upgrade. And I’m taking the hinges off anyway so now’s the time.

This was definitely my biggest special finish project as of yet. It had been distressed by a previous decorator. I painted it all and added a glaze finish, accentuating all those marks. Tedious work! But the results are just amazing. I’ve been doing more of these types of projects lately. The artistic cabinet finishes really suits me. 👨‍🎨

The dark cabinets had to go. The island wasn’t quite right. No problem. Cabinet Painting by Kip took care of it.😎
