We were days away from pouring concrete on this Oakland addition and retaining wall. Then the rain hit. Piers flooded, soil collapsed and the back half of or retaining wall form fell. Our piers filled with water and our rebar cages were buried in mud. Now we’re looking at a 2 week setback just to get back to where we were.
This is the part of construction nobody likes to talk about. You can plan everything perfectly and then weather still wins.

Ever wonder why a construction quote seems high? This is a perfect example of one of the biggest hidden costs: site access.
When we can’t easily get machinery to the work area, every single tool, bars of steel, and piece of lumber has to be carried in by hand. It’s pure sweat equity, and it has a major impact on the budget and timeline.

Another project that Home Pride Construction handled the full design, plans and permitting for. We are doing a small addition to give our clients a larger dining room. We will also be moving almost all the interior walls, new led lighting, new hvac and flooring. When we finish up this house will feel like a completely different home.

Upgrading our Access points to help improve the over all WiFi network. As we increase our computing and technology it will be great to have the increased bandwidth.
Improved zoom calls and sharing files will be much improved.
