We just finished inspecting this Water Commander™ sump pump that was installed 10 years ago! It's still works like new and pumps as fast as the day it was put in.

Notice how this water-powered sump pump is nicely tucked away underneath a cabinet in the basement, showing how easy and flexible the Water Commander is to install. It can be positioned however you need it to be (horizontally OR vertically) and can have multiple turns in the suction and discharge pipe.

We get asked about the sizes of our Water Commander pumps, so here's a new illustration showing dimensions for both our MG22 and MG36 models. And remember that if you're installing in a narrow area, both pumps can also be installed vertically to save space. You can position each pump as high or low as needed, and have several 90 degree turns in both the suction and discharge pipes to fit your space.

Here's a well-done Water Commander install by Eric in Minnesota. He maximized the pumping power by mounting the model MG22 close to the floor and by using a 1" PEX water supply line (instead of ¾") to ensure unrestricted water flow. Eric positioned the pump vertically, which works well for his space.

Take a look at this nice Water Commander model MG22 install in the Detroit area by Home Inspection and Enviromental Testing, LLC. This demonstrates nicely where to install a hammer arrestor on the water line in relation to the dual check valve and shut-off valve. Also, the PVC unions on both the suction and discharge pipes allow for quick disassembly.

This Water Commander backup sump pump will help protect their basement from flooding for years to come.
