Thanks to Des Plaines Public Library for hosting another one of my teen paint nights. Time flew as we painted "Silver Lining" as shown here. We learned about how to scumble with acrylic paint to create clouds. We also learned how you can find perspective even in the clouds of this painting. They have an amazing teen zone I highly recommend.

Excited to share that I will be offering a new class beginning on September 12 called Cursive Create! It's geared toward junior high through high school students and is a great opportunity for them to learn cursive in 5 easy weeks. I do host private paint parties as well and can custom-tailor a painting to a particular theme! The sky is the limit.

So excited that Harper College has chosen to host my workshop Deeply Rooted on Sunday, September 10 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. in celebration of Grandparent's Day! Grandparents and their grandchildren will spend some time learning how their lives are woven together. Participants will then have fun experimenting with communication tools from their respective eras in an effort to recreate each other's story. Everyone will leave with the stories they create and a family photo. Why not register your loved ones for this special event?

Today is the day! So excited to be inspiring kids with creativity with my first Deconstruct workshop at Des Plaines Library. Can't wait to post what the teens create today! We take apart a gadget/appliance, learn a little about how it was designed and turn it into a sculpture! Thank God for glue gun on this project. Here are a couple of my samples.
