Joe and Gay Bryant purchased the Feed Store in 1977 just 38 years ago after Joe was interested in natural nutrition and organics. "I bought the store after stopping in one day and the then owner asked if I knew of anyone wanting to buy a feed store. A white frame building ensconced by the railroad tracks on West Oak Street in Palestine represents 6 decades of a functioning feed store. The building

built in 1949 has had no building improvements and been the same size except for the addition of the greenhouse to the side of the store to house growing plants. Throughout the decades the Bryants have seen changes among the products carried from feed suppliers to products of demand but they still carry some of the first products including Super Green. it is made in the Toledo Bend area and cures pulled muscles, arthritis, sunburns and even poison oak.
