We get asked every week what vegetables are best to plant right now in Florida.

The good news? Serious gardeners in Zone 10B don't have to take the summer off. In fact, there are plenty of vegetables that thrive in our heat and humidity this time of year.

From tried-and-true summer favorites like okra and southern peas to a few tomato varieties that might surprise you, this blog covers some of our favorite crops to plant in June.

Give it a read and let us know what's growing in your garden this summer. ๐Ÿ…๐ŸŒฑ

๐ŸŒฟ Four teams. Four completely different garden styles. One community favorite.

Our team spent weeks designing and planting these display gardens, each inspired by a different theme:

๐Ÿ’š Native
๐Ÿค Cloud Dancer
๐Ÿ’œ Sensory Wellness
๐ŸŒธ Maximalist

Now it's your turn to decide.

Take a stroll through the gardens, pick your favorite, and cast your vote for this year's Community Choice Garden winner!

๐Ÿ Happy Thursday!

June is flying by, but this little bee seems to have the right idea.

Slow down. Enjoy the flowers. Notice the beauty around you. ๐Ÿ’œ

A while back, we hosted members of the Art Associates of Martin County for a plein air painting day at the nursery. ๐ŸŽจ๐ŸŒฟ

Even though it rained and rained, they stuck with it and spent the day finding inspiration among the plants.

Recently, artist Tami Conrad sent us some of the finished paintings, and we just had to share them.

We love seeing the nursery through someone elseโ€™s eyes. From tropical foliage and flowers to little corners you might walk right past, each artist captured something different.

A big thank you to Tami Conrad, Diane Hagg, Gaye Diaz, and Sue Gallagher for sharing your beautiful work with us. ๐Ÿ’š

๐ŸŒฟ Last week, our team put their creativity to work designing four themed summer garden beds.

Each one took a completely different approach:

๐ŸŒผ Native
๐Ÿ‘ƒ Sensory
โ˜๏ธ Cloud Dancer
๐ŸŒฟ Maximalist

There was plenty of brainstorming, plant swapping, and friendly debate along the way, but the beds are officially finished!

We will be asking the community to vote for their favorite! Stay tuned ๐Ÿ˜„

Cardinals. Painted buntings. Mockingbirds. ๐Ÿฆ

If attracting more birds to your yard is on your gardening wish list, you're not alone. It's one of the questions we've been hearing most lately.

We put together a list of 8 Florida shrubs that provide food, shelter, and plenty of reasons for birds to stick around.

A few are probably exactly what you'd expect. A few might surprise you.

Check out the blog and let us know which birds visit your garden most often!

Weโ€™re not saying caladiums are our favoriteโ€ฆ

But weโ€™re not not saying it either. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The colors. The patterns. The way they brighten up a shady corner of the garden.

We have so many beautiful varieties growing right now, and every time we walk through them, a new favorite seems to emerge.

๐Ÿ‘ Y'all showed up for peaches last time!

Palm Peaches Co-Op is rolling back into Pinder's this Saturday, June 6th, with fresh Georgia peaches available for pickup and limited same-day purchases.

The peach pickup runs from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM, and we'll be staying open until 6:00 PM so you can grab your peaches and take a stroll through the nursery while you're here. ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒฟ

Last time was a major hit, and we have a feeling this one will be too.

Who's coming for peaches? ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

Check out this cool kid! ๐Ÿ“ป๐ŸŒฟ

Ms. Kenleigh made a pit stop at WQCS 88.9 FM this morning and talked about all the things โ€” summer gardening, herbs, shade gardens, portulaca, trees, and plenty more.

We're grateful for every opportunity to share our love of plants and gardening with the community.

Make sure y'all tune in, support your local radio station, and of course, support our girl Kenleigh! ๐Ÿ’š

Meet the lovely Lily! ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Honestly, her name couldn't be a more perfect fit.

As one of our sales associates, Lily brings so much brightness, positivity, and plant knowledge to the nursery every day. She started in the shop as a cashier and has grown into an incredible part of our team.

Whether she's helping customers find the perfect plant, answering questions, or keeping things running smoothly, she always does it with a smile.

We're so grateful to have her as part of the Pinder's family. ๐Ÿ’š

Be sure to say hello next time you're in the nursery!
