Big changes coming to Fence Emporium. Keenan & Debby Retherford are retiring. Looks like the place will have new owners by summer and they will have a slightly different business model. For one, they won't be carrying electric fence systems and all the parts and pieces. We do not want to leave our great customers without a resource, so we are looking for another Valley retail establishment to take over that piece of the business. We'll sell them our inventory & display racks, connect them to our suppliers and our customers. We've talked to a couple of horse/farm related businesses out here, but if it doesn't work, we'll have to sell it to an outfit in Anchorage.

In the meantime, if you use electric fence, you might consider coming in and buying some spare parts. Our current inventory is still at last years prices, which is lower than new inventory is going to be, that's for sure. Please spread the word.

We are feeling for all the Seniors having to forego all the celebrations & ceremonies that normally commemorate there accomplishments. Know that the grace with which you are handling this huge disappointment speaks to how well you will handle all the challenges life will inevitably through at you.

We support all students, but being Palmer High graduates ourselves, and being located just down the street from Palmer High, we admit to a little bias.

😪 RIP Sampson. One of our favorite 4-legged customers went over the rainbow bridge. We'll miss his visits. 💔

Fence Emporium phones not working. It rings, but when we answer, no one can hear us. MTA coming to look at it Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience. We are frustrated too. But hey....good excuse to get in the car & come see us!

This is historically the end of our slow season - the winter months when we clean up, count inventory, order for the coming season, observe cool ice formations in our yard, surf the net, eat donuts, etc.

That means it's an excellent time to come in and discuss your summer projects. Beat the rush, especially if you will need some custom design and fabrication work. Don't wait until May when EVERYONE needs it "by this weekend."

Enjoyed some time at The Musk Ox Farm today. Beautiful setting & beautiful animals. As you can imagine, they've got a LOT of fencing and gates. We appreciate their business. Be sure to support this terrific nonprofit & bring your visiting friends & family.
