We are taking some time off for the holidays. We plan to eat good meals, gift thoughtfully, share a glass of wine, or a hot cup of tea. (My favorite, Moroccan Mint from ) But most of all we plan to be kind to eachother, and relax and slow down. Sending best wishes to our clients, colleagues, friends, and family.

Tonight, when prepping dinner, I had the sad thought that this dish cloth,which my sister gave me ,has lasted longer than she did. I would much prefer to have her, although it is a lovely blue.

We am honored to have won an award from ASID Cal Peninsula for one of my projects. Our design for the total home remodel with the addition of a second story, of a 1940's home in San Mateo. The clients loved the casual charm of their vintage home but really needed more space. We tried to recreate some details that might have been in the original home, while making the spaces work for an active young family. We placed Bronze in the design of a home under 3000 sf. It is especially affirming, because this award is judged by my peers, design professionals in practice in our part of the state. Thank you ASID CA Peninsula Chapter
