Creative Do Overs

Creative Do Overs Mac Caldwell here and all it takes is a little time to turn an older piece of furniture into a nice addition to the home.

Taking a small bed that has the etched in initials of a young child and turning that into a bench holds a passsion in my heart. Working with older furniture and thinking of the things this piece of furniture has seen and heard keeps me working with it and creating something new for it to turn heads once again keeps me excited.

I’ve always enjoyed using the graining tool
I could paint my weak leg then wood grain it! Dress up like a pirate!!
Look like a peg leg!

Still haven’t done any work since my stroke but I feel it coming... I’ve been working in my mind!

Built me a tennessee bar, I put the checkerboard endzones on each end of the bar top!! Deminsions available on request.

Giraffees in Africa are graceful animals. This simply displays the love and affection between a momma giraffee and her little giraffee.

Just finished, delivering this afternoon. The lady had slept on this spindle bed as a little girl.
