Miigwech (thank you) to the Saginaw-Chippewa Tribe for trusting Country Roots with your food sovereignty program. It’s an honor to help fill these beds, knowing they are gonna produce great foods, herbs and medicine for years to come. We are also going help you develop your own composting program to maintain your gardens and spread through the community.
We’ve been blessed with the opportunity to help a few tribal groups over the years. Last summer, we were able to help a group in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Quality goods grown across the lands.

Thanks to incredible community support, we’ve been working through everything we can produce, as quickly as we can make it 🙏💚

Now it’s time to grow.

We’re expanding our composting operation and inviting the community to be part of it. By helping us collect high-quality compostable materials, you’ll be directly contributing to healthier soil, less waste, and a more resilient local food system.

As part of our Compost Collection Plan, participants will receive rewards while helping turn local organic resources into valuable soil-building products that will enhance our entire community.

This time last year, we lost all our plant starts to frost. We reset and recovered. The weather is dryer and warmer than last year, things are looking good. We have nine beds reset, planted, and mulched with a whole lot more to grow 💚🌿

Farm life in no particular order—these animals need food, these plants need water, these plants need water, those plants need water, those animals need to be fed, all this needs to get moved, feed the kids, feed the cats and dogs. Get back out and water. Don’t forget to mix soil, and then back to food and water 🤣🤣🤣

Foraging with in the Greenhouse 💚☀️ thanks for rolling up with the Good Vibe Tribe this past weekend. My wife, Ronda, was extremely grateful for the Teeshirt; she loves it and thanks anyone who thinks of her too. She gives me the look every time I get a cool shirt without her, but we get to rock the together 😎
